3 Days Grace

My thoughts and actions from the previous 3 days:

MAY 22, 2012

So I got on the Subway to get to werk. I'm standing there holding on as the subway jerks and turns through the bowels of New York. I feel a tickle on my arm, and I look down to wipe away the strands of hair from whoever's wench scalp is balding and what do I find is on my arm? A ROACH. I shake it off. Nobody says anything, nobody notices, nobody cares. This is New York.

I meet up with Michelle at 14th St Union Square after work and we walk through the East Village until we find a place to eat called Just Sweet. I previously discussed how businesses are often wrongly named around here, and Just Sweet is no different than the others because, sure, they sell boba tea, grass jelly, and green tea ice cream, but what are they doing selling pork dumplings and eel over rice with teriyaki sauce? Focus people! Well the chairs were badly upholstered and it looked like they made use of child labor in regards to decoration and window advertising, but I wasn't as offended as Michelle seemed. I don't know what it was about that day, but Michelle flicked a baby roach off my shoulder in the restaurant. She is not disclosing the information, but for all I know, it was a baby roach. I believe them creepy crawlies love salmon-colored blazers or I just didn't shower correctly the night before.

We watched baby cribs, families watching TV, and some lonely people browsing the internet for porn
through the homes that line the subway track on the Brooklyn bound train. The goal is to spot ugly naked man and I caught a flash of one shirtless man. CLOSE ENOUGH.

JUST sweets, right?

Right.

Wrong.

WRONG.

He invited me.

And he let me.

SO I TOOK ADVANTAGE.

These bitches was jealous.

MAY 23, 2012

I take the train to work sympathizing for Peeta Malark. Damn, I hate the Hunger Games trilogy. Thank gawd I'm about 200 pages away from the end of it all. I get to help out with a few things at the Bestdesignfirminnewyork and I don't feel like a completely useless intern. Afterwards, I roam the Financial District and Lower Manhattan that surrounds the office. I go towards buildings that I find enticing so I pass the New York Stock Exchange and then find my way towards the Freedom Towers that are in the process of erection. It's a beautiful erection. I try to find the World Trade Center Memorial, but from the signs, I feel like there's a fee. I don't feel like paying today so I go towards another building. I never made it though because I was distracted by Korean takos. I have gone through enough underwear that I will be fresh out by this Friday. To make my stay official, Michelle did my FIRST LOAD OF LAUNDRY FOR THE SUMMA.

New York Stock Exchange. Where the hope of America died.

Korean Takos and aloe water. I was feeling adventurous.

MAY 24, 2012

I went to work. Got out of work. Tried my hand at the bus system in Long Island and failed. Went to Red Lobster near Michelle's place of work, with Michelle of course. Got home really late. Gotta be up by 7am tomorrow! GAHD.
